    Hi. I have a C1 and the image is fine for me. What I would suggest/double check. Make sure the HDMI picture setting is the same as on Live TV (pref at least filmmaker mode for me). Try setting the box to output at 1080i to get the TV to do the I/P conversion. Freeview HD channels at 99%...

    You can set the output res, as you’d expect, but can’t adjust any sharpening it adds to the image by default. Hence the idea of an option to turn that off.

    That’s certainly one option I would say. Perhaps passthrough isn’t the correct term, I’m not especially technical. Essentially I mean a toggle that at the minimum takes away the current additional sharpening applied to HD, as confirmed by Manhattan.

    Essentially the T4-R doing the minimum it needs to pass what it receives to the TV. No unnecessary additional picture processing. Alex at Manhattan seemed to understand the inference.
