Hooray......have noticed this all the time with my Humax through my ancient Toshiba widescreen and through gf's new Humax through LG tv. Was at wits end with continually adjusting volume. Improved it by switching to different sound setting on the Toshiba. One of the surround settings I think...

As above, usually failed Film 4 recordings. Also had problems with subtitles or audio description switching themselves on. Subtitles can be switched off using 'back' button, but audio description cancelled only by switching off then re-booting.................infuriating. Have had the unit for 3...
