No default authority data available for this channel

David says he's working on it, and it'll be about a week or so.

No default authority data available for this channel

I've had the "No default authority data available for this channel" on a few channels for a few weeks now. Is Davd500 (or anyone) still able to sort it? I've tried the WebIF >> Package Management >> Check for updates; then Upgrade all packages and reboot a few times. So far I've noticed it on...

    [Real-time scheduling] - Runaway recording

I've attached the relevant portions of the requested logs. My memory is not the best, so the it's getting harder to remember the order in which things happened...but I'm trying my best, and the logs have helped me. Using most of your words: I thought I had scheduled a single program recording...

Beta [Real-time scheduling] schedule without rebooting

Thanks everyone! I'll make sure I run those nugget commands if it happens again. I've posted in the main forum here: https://hummy.tv/forum/threads/real-time-scheduling-runaway-recording.9405/ Thanks for the tip about the time switch. I'll set that up before I go. Should I do the same with my...

    [Real-time scheduling] - Runaway recording

Hi, In the beta forum post about Real-time scheduling I asked about a runaway recording (that I had about 24 hours ago), and MymsMan recommended that I post here. To answer MymsMan's questions: Firstly are you up to date with customised firmware and all packages, in particular what version...

Beta [Real-time scheduling] schedule without rebooting

Thank you. I'm away for the next two weeks, and will be using the web-if to control the HDR (via a VPN to 'be on my local network'). If this was to happen again is there anyway to stop the recording via the web-if?

Beta [Real-time scheduling] schedule without rebooting

Last night I had the 'Occasionally a recording will just keep going past the time it should have stopped' bug. Is there anyway to lower the chance of this happening? Black Hole, does it ever happen to you? I'm wondering if keeping my Humax on 24/7 would help.

    Buying a HDR-FOX T2

My HDR-FOX T2 arrived, and passed all of Black Hole's check-over tests. I've now got it all set-up how I want it, and I'm as pleased as punch! For now I'm sticking with the HDD. I can barely hear it. I was only concerned because I'll mainly be recording at night, and it's right next to the head...

    Buying a HDR-FOX T2

I got one on eBay today. Paid a bit more than I planned, so I hope it works well. I'll make sure to give it a good check-over as soon as it arrives. Thanks for the link Black Hole. Also, it's worth noting that CEX's website had a few, and all their items come with a 24-Months money back...

    Buying a HDR-FOX T2

I am looking on eBay, and will bid on the ones that come up. I was just wondering if there was anywhere I didn't know about.

    Buying a HDR-FOX T2

Hi all, :) After much consideration, I've decided to add a HDR-FOX T2 to my set-up. I live in the middle of nowhere, so finding one in a second-hand shop is unlikely. Apart from eBay, is there anywhere else I should be looking? I've got a low budget, so I'll have to wait and try to get a fairly...

Going headless (no TV "monitor") without internet

You were right. Didn't fix it. Thanks for the link. I can't see any mention of downloading the database to a USB. Is updating the package list via the webif the only way? Very easy! I'll try to be careful. I forgot this wasn't just part of the custom firmware, but I now remember installing...
