Thank you, both. I hadn't tried out the USB connection before, so today found a largish USB pendrive, and copied a few recordings over- looks OK so far, although the transfers took longer than I'd expected. I'll dig out my SATA-USB adaptor. Cheers :doublethumbsup:

Hi, new boy here. I've had a 2000T for a number of years, and have just found this forum. If I remove the (almost full) 500Gb hdd and replace it with a new 2Tb disk, will I still be able to view the programmes saved on the old disk if I swap the disks back? .... I'd be sad to lose the old stuff...
