Havent updated or looked at this in a while. Was just wondering whats available now for the HD-FOX-T2 on customised firmware? I was thinking of going for the youview, but then thought if I can get the players on my current HD box, whats the point?

Okay. I have about 15 mins of a programme recorded. SD. Have telnetted and booted into HDR mode. copied or downloaded the .ts file to my desktop onto my PC, but it doesn't seem to be playing! Any ideas, been a while since ive done this!

I've noticed that yeah, its the playback not the recording. If it stutters or goes black, i rewind and it plays fine. Strange.

Is it normal for the box to get rather warm? I mean, its obviousley hard to describe the temperature. I can feel a fair bit of heat if i place my hand above the box, is this a normal thing to expect?

Sometimes the sound dips, then picks back up again. Only seems to happen on BBC3

Thing is i havent deleted or copied? I have no recorded programs, i go to record a program. Say for example other night. Recorded Eastenders and then Corrie, while i was out. Nothing else recorded, no videos on the drive. Playback was a bit dodgy through both of them. Not sure why!
