Not very knowledgeable user updated to youtube-dl version 2024.08.01 today. Unable to get YT videos seemingly because player bd3293c9 is not found. I ran youtube-dl with -v -F Extracts here:

I stupidly tried to download a 3hour+ prog. I downloaded a working MP4, but didn't check if it's complete. My log is:

I ran into the "Fixing malformed AAC bitstream" problem and my queue now has a delinquent RUNNING entry that I can't delete or hold via qtube. How do I tidy up my queue please? Could not find the answer in the various related threads here ad a quick tour via cli failed to spot anything handy
Updated with more information that may be of help to others. While SCART did solve the problem, it turns out that HDMI could be recovered. I can't take credit for the solution, but thought I'd report. Clue 1 was that a second HDMI device was also not working as well as the hummy. Clue 2 was the...
My mother in law's HDR-1800T starts up fine shows a channel then green screens after couple of seconds. Fully repeatable. Powered all off. Connected by HDMI. Will try a SCART cable or composite some time, just checking if this is common
Thanks for the info in this thread. My C3 has just gone up in smoke (literally). Will swap in a donor PSU board while attempt component swaps as detailed.

It’s very odd. I just double checked and my 1tb works fine in my original machine. My backup works fine with its 500gb. Put the 1 tb in the backup and it complains there is no signal, so the power idea is an idea to follow. My third machine is dead, but has a working psu ...
