OK, so it HAS got YouTube, but it's pretty pants. There's no button on the remote for it, nor onscreen menu item. You have to go onto YouTube on your phone/tablet and cast to the Manhattan. After that you're OK, but it's a silly implementation IMHO. Probably some permission required or copyright...

Ooh. Maybe I was wrong about YouTube. I will have another look. Thank you. No issues with padding that I have noticed. I will keep an eye.

I feel a bit of a traitor, but I’ve just bought a Manhattan T-3R. Why? The usual: the slow remote, dodgy subtitles, and flaky iPlayer. I always had access to on-demand through a cheap Now box, but it was a pain to switch from one to other. And after years indulging the Humax and its funny...

AFAICS there are no conflicts here at all, though weirdly we appear to be recording the same programme on the same channel twice. Confusing layout, too. This seems to be happening increasingly often. Have I configured something wrongly? Thank you.

I got this friendly message on my screen yesterday: Loading https://uk.humaxdigital.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2016/09/hdr_fox_t2_upgrade.hdf will presumably wipe the custom interface, so that's a no-no. But it would be nice to have iPlayer work a bit. :)

If I accidentally programme something to record via WebIf and on the box, I sometimes get a conflict message like the attached. Is there a way to prevent this - other than by not being a dummy in the first place? [Cracked self-pitying voice: I'm 82, you know....]

Recent YouTube searches bring up an error message: 'Undefined variable: httpMethod'. I googled that, but none of the results were intelligible to me. I tried installing New Portal, but no joy. Is there a fix, or is it just that the Humax is outdated and times have moved on? --- As ever...
