    Reorder the Channel List

Thanks for that 👍 I don’t see any option to enable the favourite list after adding channels to it, I must be going blind 🤦🏼‍♂️ ### Edit ### Got it, only available in the guide page…. Only issue I see now is when he presses 1 on the keypad it will go to channel 1 and not the top channel in...

    Reorder the Channel List

Hi there, Thanks for the reply. I really thought that nearly all equipment allowed a reordering of the channels, older stuff anyway… I had an old Humax Freeview receiver and I was able to reorder the channels on it, perhaps with a custom firmware, can’t really remember fully… I was hoping...

    Reorder the Channel List

Hi guys, Is there any way to change the order of the channels after a scan? I’d like to switch the SD & HD channels and move some about but the edit channel list settings option doesn’t seem to allow this 🤔 It seems very odd if this is not possible … Thanks, Mac

Custom Portal and BBC Sport / News app

I connected up the HDR just to check some of this stuff but not very successful.. I couldn't find a HTML5 4OD URL but apparently that's what the apple devices use.. Maybe someone with a jail broken apple device can check this.. I also tried TV3's attempt at a HTML5 player and while I'd better...

Custom Portal and BBC Sport / News app

Yes, feel free to update the portal any time you guys want! I read somewhere recently that the 4OD iPad/iPhone/Android apps are now hooking into a HTML5 website so this might be worth investigating.. If the 4OD website is smart enough to detect if your browser can support html5 then in theory...

    New Portal in development

Hi folks, I would happily continue the development of the OnDemand players if I found a solution for playing the actual rtmpe streams from the Opera browser. If I was able to somehow call rtmpdump and output onscreen or get the browser to play these streams then I would be back in business...

    New Portal in development

I'm afraid I hit a wall with the VOD apps and currently they are at a standstill. If some solution is found (running flash in Opera browser or somehow call rtmpdump from Opera browser) then I will take a look at them again! Until then I'm afraid I can't progress anything!

    Custom Portal - Development

Both options sound great xyz321 but both are over my head.. I was googling options for this issue ans several solutions involved mount commands but none worked for me.. My knowledge in this area is very very limited though...

    Custom Portal - Development

Confusing is the word alright, frustrating is another! Well, if this project of mine does end in failure then at least I have picked up some new skills along the road anyway :) I'm not sure what a symlink is, a shortcut? Anyway, does this mean that there is a method to get the flash plugin...

    Custom Portal - Development

Anyone know if it's possible to put this flash version onto the Humax? I tried to put the 32-Bit so into the /usr/browser/lib folder but telnet is reporting that the file system is read-only and it won't allow me to change it.. It might not be possible to use this version or make this...

    Custom Portal - Development

Yeah, ITV use RTMP streams also with an even more complex SOAP header string.. Even if we did manage to get rtmpdump/librtmp or anything of that sort installed I'm not sure how we can direct the output towards the screen and not to a file as the normal use does. See what input af123 has or...

    Custom Portal - Development

Is there any way that librtmp/rtmpdump could be installed on the Humax and invoked via a JIM script like you do in the WEBIF for the VLC playing? I'm hitting a wall on this, pity as I really thought it would be possible.. :(

    Custom Portal - Development

I think by reading all those sites it doesn't need to install flash on the machines to play the streams as JWPlayer, FlowPlayer etc. are able to play them with a lite version within the browser.. I might be wrong though!!

    Custom Portal - Development

Looking for a bit of help if anyone knows.... In the RSS feeds for RTE I get the following mp4 stream url but I can't get it to play in HTML/javascript but I'm not sure if it isn't possible or I just don't know enough about this stuff.. Anyone like to make an attempt at getting this to play?
