Thanks for the quick fix. Thought it was the chrome update that popped up earlier! Post #47 worked on both my HDRs, although one of the two took around 45 seconds (rather than the 5 seconds of the first) and it also worked on my HDFOXT2 which was also suffering.

Must have just got in under the wire. Ordered a refurbished HDR FOXT2 last Thursday which arrived Friday. Hope they are back up and running soon.

Thanks for the info. I've checked and changed font sizes on my phone to see if anything else was there, but no. It seems the "accept changes" option isn't there.

I don't know why I sometimes get "Failed: Programme already showing" when using the RS Mobile website. All I know is that if I use the full web interface on my Note 2 (remove "/m" from the web address) then it works. I've just tried to schedule "Backchat" for tonight and it didn't work on the...

I'm getting the same problem as the OP when using Chrome on my Galaxy Note 2. With the stock browser all is fine. I get the same "basic text" look with Chrome in Linux Mint. I only use RS occasionally so it's more of a "I'm intrigued why it does this" rather than a "how do I fix it" request.

I thought I had a problem with auto decrypt. The problem was the deletion of the original file (after auto decryption) would affect a recording happening at the time of the deletion. (See the auto.log in post #8.) I got round the problem initially by using unecrypt, but because that's not...

Just an update on the situation. Since installing undelete everything has played nicely over the Christmas period. All the programmes I've (finally) got around to watching have not suffered any picture break ups. So I guess the "delicate" way that undelete deals with deletions has helped.

Excellent. I assume that moving a recording to the [deleted] folder doesn't actually move any "ones and noughts" so should be easier on the system. I'll take out unecrypt and install undelete for a few days and see if that helps. I'll report back in a week or two. Thanks once again.

Thanks for the quick reply. I've got the default (1am - 6am) set on unencrypt which is fine and does the job. My wake up period is set from 1am-6am as well. I was wondering though, if the problem (of picture breaks) is caused by deleting files then maybe installing "undelete" might allow...
