    Vertical Tuner - sourcing

I have an old but still usable Fox T2 but the heavy coax has (I think) damaged the tuner input socket conection. The tunner does still work for the higher power (welsh) transmitter but is very intermittent for the local repeater (West) and is getting worse. I live in the lea of a hill and want...

    Decrypting and Saving Original

Hi, It was me, it is working OK For others not familiar to where manual decrypt stores the original: I first manual decrypted a single recording in "My Videos" folder and it created an "Original" folder in the same folder to store it. At this point I thought (wrongly) that all other originals...

    Decrypting and Saving Original

Apologies but how can I view the wastebin/basket!? I have done a search but cannot get any results for using a GUI which I thought would show it!

    Decrypting and Saving Original

Thanks for the quick replies. Last night I thought I did exactly as stated in first reply, and it worked, but as you imply, I then did further checking of info and investigated auto-processing (trying to learn more) so may well have left something set - will check later tonight and report...

Unfortunately I cannot find how to do it again! I can encrypt but loose the original. Can somebody point me to info on how to...

    Decryption On PC Using Linux

Thanks for the information. As I said in #22, I understood it would take longer and was not ignoring the obvious because it is the first time I tried to use the procedure and was obvious to me. As it is not obvious to me, in what circumstances would it be preferable to use stripts? Thanks...

    Decryption On PC Using Linux

It might be easier but I understood it would take a lot longer, the recording I want to decrypt is 2 hours long so I thought I would do it on my PC.

    Decryption On PC Using Linux

Thanks very much for updating your stript. I do not have much time ATM but hope to try it on my 5 minute test recording tomorrow or Tuesday and will confirm the result for completeness and information to any lurkers. For my own personal knowledge, do you have to update programs every time a...

    Decryption On PC Using Linux

FYI I have /lib64 linked to /usr/lib64 In there I have libcrypto.so.3 and libcrypto.so.3.0.9, with a link from 3 to 3.0.9. This is a little towards the extent of my knowledge but i assume my fc7 is using libcrypto.so.3.0.9!? Do I need to try again using the dropbox "stripts" or does it still...

    Decryption On PC Using Linux

    I think that's whats it says here: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/723616/how-to-fix-missing-libcrypto-so-1-1 and just checked: peter@fedora ~]$ ldconfig -p | grep libcrypto libcrypto.so.3 (libc6,x86-64) => /lib64/libcrypto.so.3 libcrypto.so.1.1 (libc6) =>...

    Decryption On PC Using Linux

It seems to need libcrypto but it seems thing have changed (or I am still doing something wrong). Attached are some outputs. Its opening openssl but it seems there is no libcrypto. Will have another look tomorrow but at least its running!!

    Decryption On PC Using Linux

I have put a small .ts file in "Downloads folder" on my Linux box, I unzipped the stripts.zip file and have 2 unziped files in a "stripts" folder that contain, "stripts32" and "stripts64" which are both executable and read write by me. I assume the above is correct!? i now want to decrypt the...
