I may well be uninformed. I’m a retired person, and mainly just a product user, I’m not fully clued up on the technology, apologies for that. I use a free youtube downloaded app to get the mp4 files I need, I was just asking the question on easiest way to put onto HDD.

Seems like a simple task … not done it, so maybe there is an easy way. While I have taken files off Humax … quite convoluted to get them from M2TS into MP4 or similar. I want to do the reverse … if I have an MP4 file what is easiest way to import into Humax. I did some Googling … and it shows...

Can you restore Channel settings? That is what takes the time. … I.e. auto download, then edit to delete dross, I do have some apps installed …maybe not the ones needed.
