I installed new HDD in my Humax and copied in content so hopefully once swapped psu & board over bringing up HDD won5 be too bad.
Is there a better variant psu …? Knowing capacitors age.
I hadn't looked at 2nd hand ...have 3 older Humax boxes (not FOX T2)
Was sort of thinking moving up to the current product when FOX T2 is terminal (Aura 4k), assuming a new box is not imminent.
Took a quick look on eBay they seem to be sub £30
I remember the task .. but more than a year ago, I couldn't remember the details. As fault is still occurring it does seem that 'system-flush' is not the answer.
Finshed the task ... first thing it did was go to the set up wizard again ... so schedules & channels all lost again. (not sure if that is inevitable with system flush)
OK .. installed & run the system flush file - reported success
Run fix-flash-packages That completed
Not sure what you mean by the next step.
I have packages installed : IR, tunefix, newk, undelete, boot-settings they show as currently installed, do I have to do anything to them ?
This morning, powered on … and it started with the full set up .. SCREEN. 1 ..language selection, etc.
Loses all configuration & schedules.
What causes this, happened a few times now.
HD diagnostics attached.. also attach latest log entry …. It shows I shut it down at 0038
The system booted...
I have several folders which contain a number of films .... that I would like to show in order they were produced.
i.e I have a set of James Bond films.
To allow easy sort I put the numerical sequence number in front of file name .... thinking it would then sort in order 1 - 26
However, it does...
What I'm looking for is something 'on screen' via Humax remote. I don't use the web interface, other than for maintenance tasks, as the PC is used in different room to TV.
For example the addition of the Trash bin ... keeps the functionality accessible in the menu and via remote.
I have a fair amount of recordings ... and occasionally have started watching something, or want a specific file ..... but can't remember the title ( often an 'a' or 'the' will block a simple sort)
Is there an add-on that allows keyword search ?
