Thanks for the replies, atleast nothing wrong then. I will start another thread about remote recording as it was my intention to replace a BT Youview box with the 4000 but struggling with the remote recording aspects.

Just picked up a VGC one off ebay and it all works fine but it gets very hot over where I guess the tuners are - the aerial in/out side. Is this normal?
