Well, the case was very difficult to break into but it's done now and the drive is in my backup Humax with the latest CFW. Trouble is, it's been formatting all night, so that's not working now. My son said that when he put the 2TB drive in his Humax it seemed to take seconds. Anyone have any...

Yes, I did a while back thanks. It seemed that the current version of the CFW would have the answer but from what I can make out it only seems to apply to internal HDDs larger than 2TB. I did enter into a dialogue with af123 but after I uploaded a couple of screen dumps I heard no more.

Has anyone managed to get one working? The Humax seems to know it's there but won't access it. I'm trying with a 4TB drive.

I have a couple of T2s running CF3.10 (build 2734) on 1.03.12, but I have been unable so far to get them to see my new 4TB Seagate USB drive (model STEB4000200). It came formatted for windows but now I have tried using GPARTED to create a 4tb GPT partition formatted ext3. Neither box sees it...

I use an external HDD with my Foxsat HDR and can confirm that it works well. Only S L O W L Y

This is my wife's T2 and she has a total of 3 items in the schedules list, 2 live and one complete, so this probably strengthens your case.

I recently received a refurbed box running 1.03.11. I noticed that it had updated to 1.03.12 and the speed of the EPG seems fine. Just a comment.
