  If you mean reloading the firmware, there is no need for that. Basically, your disk data has got into a scramble (even if there are no file system errors), and reinstalling stuff doesn't sort out the scramble. Rather than try to unpick what's happened, strip it out and start again (EDIT: but...

  More than hurricane, I think their app was showing wind speeds of tens of thousands of miles an hour. Unfortunately that was still in the range preset as "hurricane" rather than "that's ridiculous unless you're on Jupiter".

  I think it's worth mentioning that any live viewing of TV, even by IP, requires a TV licence, whereas non-live does not (except iPlayer, I believe). This might be a factor in the various providers' thinking.

  The buggers. I misinterpreted this: I thought that meant it last recorded on 21st, but I now realise it means it was last scheduled to record on 21st regardless of whether that succeeded. I must have set the series recording in the narrow window between these two events:
