the version 03 was stable enough (for me anyway) to have been on their beta site weeks a go, and then those who wanted to try it could have, after all its their beta site, if they don't want to use it , why set it up in the first place?- framedtoo

Closed Poll What computer Operating System do you use?
i've tried to install 3.11 , but funny noises come from dvd drive, whats the idea behind square installation disks anyway wont sit in the tray right.- framedtoo

looks like humax have fallen out with their own beta site, or at least with people who go on the forums (we are the most likely people to download betas)- framedtoo

just been on DS, it's getting stupid now i've been testing 03 for about 3 weeks. (after this post,don't think i will be invited to test anymore) portal working, a bit slow, but it works (for me anyway). 1 lock up, unable to replicate the lockup. switch off and on again sorted it (anyone...- framedtoo

just press the red button when on BBC, you'll be amazed (i know you have, thats teletext) -

sounds like it been a long time since you've used teletext. very good now no looking at the No's at the top of the page waiting for the next screen to appear, however if you want that retro look just go on teletext holidays (you'll think its the eight's again) -

HD Camcorder - any advice
i've panasonic SD9, had for a few years now, video quality good if good lighting conditions and excellent sound (5.1) as long as there is no wind. doesn't take the best photos though.- framedtoo

Sandholme you don't have to keep sticking up for humax. we're on this site because we like the hummy, and hardly anyone is likely to ditch their unit (in some cases units, Brian :p), because of the update. but sometimes we need to moan and bitch, it makes us feel better. if humax is bothered...- framedtoo

Where is the new Firmware?
there was a thread no what version no. it will be when its released. what we should be doing is guessing the month. i think humax will keep to their word (its on the box). so im saying October , just eight months to wait:(- framedtoo

when everything stops responding, its dead you switch it of and on again, SOD it, is just a nice way of putting it, in reality we say, f*****g piece of s**t, you piece off s**t b*****d f*****G t*****g piece of s**t, and turn it off and on again- framedtoo
