  I was watching the BBC news channel and then this message was displayed: "The receiver will turn off in 2 minutes due to automatic power down" My Humax shortly after switched off. Anyone know why it would do this or anyone else has similar issues?

  I've managed to extract the Linux filesystem from the hdfbin-1-000000.raw which itself is contained within the HDF file. I'm going to attempt to install the OpenSSH binaries so that I can SSH into the box. Apparently box uses a MIPS processor so you have to run an emulator to boot the OS. Been...

  Does anyone know if you have to be able to receive HD channels to get the new firmware as I have the T2 but I can't get Freeview HD until March next year!

  It does support series link but it will only record the programs of the current series. The series link data is provided by the broadcaster and not all broadcasters provide it but most do.

  Why do they even saying anything? Their constant promises make the situation even much worse. They should just say when it's ready it will be released instead of fixed dates and answers like these. I'm not holding my breath regarding a release in a few weeks...

  Thanks for the info Martin. Can't quite believe how many times the deadline has slipped. I'm a Developer and I can't honestly understand how something like this could take a year to build. If I'm not mistaken the actual TV portal modules i.e. BBC iPlayer, Sky Player are just plug-ins provided...

  Clearly it's not ready yet as I don't have it, I was merely asking for updates? It's not an unreasonable question considering the published release date promises from Humax and this being a Humax forum.
