      Yes you are trying to help. If you mean the strength of channel 39, just checked it & it's 58% with Channel 50 still at 51%

      Oh dear, & all I wanted was simple advise! Re post 33 I can't get at the wiring it's through the walls of the house. Yes it was new cable when aerial was installed & yes it's pointing the same way as others. I'm going to mail another neighbour who I think has a Humax to see what his situation is...

      Re Mikesh post number 26, if by Muxes you mean signal strength & quality the figures this morning for Channel 50 were Strength 52%, Quality 100%. I tried to do another Manual download, but again no channels found.

      Have checked with one neighbour with Humax & they get BBC4HD on channel 106. have tried a Manual retune & it states "no channels available" Hence I think it's the aerial (which is outside & about 8 years old)

      Black Hole, Thanks for your constructive reply. Hence, unless I move home/buy a new aerial ( an unproven idea), I get no BBC 4 HD I assume for ever.

      Looking at this web site confirms that the Tacolneston transmitter only powers Com7 at 10,000 watts against 100,000 for BBC1HD transmitter. So I assume it's because of the low power that I can't get the Com7 channels. So next question, is there any way of finding if/when the power will be...

      I'm connected to the Tacolneston transmitter. Carried out a Installation of channels yesterday as changes had been made to the Transmitter. But still I can't get BBC4 in HD Is this a problem with the Humax or the Transmitter?

      From "Travs" post I think that Tacolneston is on lowish power but "prpr" says beware of the information. Any better place to look to get correct information?

      I've checked all of the connections etc., but still getting picture breakup. have checked the "Signal Detection" area of the Settings menu, & for Channel 50, ie BBC1 HD, it gives the figures of Strength 42/44% & Quality 100%, but occasional drop to 20%.       Again thanks, before Black hole got in I went to Installation/Channel Search /Auto :- & I think I've retuned, well I now get Film 4 Ch15 For information, when Film4 changed Multiplex should I have got a "Retune" message, if not how do I know about changes like this, expect this great forum?
