Wakeup for recordings causes TV to switch HDMI inputs
Thanks all. I have not given up on this yet and am going to try inserting an HDMI switch between the Humax and the TV as a next step. It was wired that way previously, but with more HDMI's available I wired it directly this time. I'll also experiment with my two free HDMI inputs...- sceptic

I recently upgraded my main TV from a Pioneer plasma to a Samsung KS7000 series. Unfortunately an unwelcome side effect of this upgrade is that the TV now switches to the HDR-Fox T2 input (HDMI 2) whenever it wakes up prior to making a recording. Having the ability to defer decryption to a time range of my choice would be ideal for me as I would configure that time range to be periods when I typically would not be interacting with the box. Swapping HDD's
I have a WD Purple HDD in my HDR-T2 after I ironically contacted WD and they recommended it for PVR usage. Thankfully its been trouble free so far and lasted longer than the 2TB Seagate PVR specific model it replaced. Its pretty much permanently tuned to channel 200 though so I don't timeshift...- sceptic

Very slow EPG
Check your recording schedule and remove any finished (--:-- ~ --:--) series that you no longer need. That may speed up the EPG navigation.- sceptic

Just had a email from Humax about this model. I'd never heard about it before. Apparently it can also stream recordings from the FVP4000T, see HERE- sceptic

Feature Request: Save Streamed Content
This would be great! I sometimes set something streaming and pause it but then forget to come back and save the file...:eek: When dealing with multiple episodes its quite a drawn out process, not helped by my rather large media list which has to be opened each time to name/save the episode.- sceptic
