  The search now has two modes of operation and its the *New* mode/feature I am commenting on. This is where it produces a search list as-you-type and this list is not inclusive and seems to exclude some programmes/channels. If you press down/search (old search) it finds a more inclusive list...

7. Fvp-4000t on demand missing
  
  After an upgrade I had missing guide information for BBC1 and 2 for over 12 hours and couldn't figure out why but the solution was simple. I just switched to BBC1 and the missing guide info populated within minutes

  I downloaded the update directly from the humax website and found it a big improvement for me because they have got rid of the external drive bug. Although I guess if they have updated again I have to update again. Anyone know the latest version number?

  It's nice to have a access to a full menu but I agree it doesn't have any default behaviour considering most of the buttons on the remote do nothing most of the time. In this context you should be able to simply press "PLAY" to continue from where you left off (no more prompts or key presses) or...

  The list view has improved in the May 2017 update... by reducing the font size, including more episodes per page, including day and time making it easier to distinguish between episodes. Shame they didn't take this opportunity to sort them in date order and still no icon to identify episodes...

  You can use the left/right buttons < > to SKIP, great, which you can also customize but then after you shuttle with the dedicated fast forward / rewind buttons << >> this makes the 'SKIP' KEYS STOP 'SKIPPING'? and default to fast forward/rewind behaviour which is a real annoyance and zero logic

  Bit of an update When setting up a series link in SD the 4000 PROMPTS TO RECORD SERIES LINKS IN HD and that's great... ...but rather bizarrely there's NO HD PROMPT FOR MOVIES??????? Update is it now prompts to save movies in HD too!! :-)

Fvp-4000t on demand missing

After an upgrade I had missing guide information for BBC1 and 2 for over 12 hours and couldn't figure out why but the solution was simple. I just switched to BBC1 and the missing guide info populated within minutes

I downloaded the update directly from the humax website and found it a big improvement for me because they have got rid of the external drive bug. Although I guess if they have updated again I have to update again. Anyone know the latest version number?
