Seagate Skyhawk 2TB - Install and CF
Got a new 2TB Skyhawk coming and looking at various posts it seems that the standard box will format this drive automatically. Does this also apply with the CF (latest version) installed? And will the CF still be there after formatting the new drive or do I have to re-load it all?- lancer

I have the latest CWF version loaded. In the last week or two, when in the recorded programmes folder list, the unit has been showing 'processing' on screen when moving between items for much longer than previously (several seconds the norm, sometimes a little longer). Did your problems with the channel recordings (e.g. BBC4) happen after doing a re-tune by any chance? Re. the issue where it says 'recording failed' but the recording's there, this can happen when the T2 misses the very start of the AR scheduled start time because other recordings have not yet...- lancer

What's Happened to This Multiplex?
Now, what do you think?! Have had for years! We can occasionally get interference from the continent when atmospherics are right (are they right now?!). Is it reasonable that it would only affect channel 44 leaving all others ok?- lancer

What's Happened to This Multiplex?
Don't think it's kit related as not specific to the Humax. There are also three televisions attached to the aerial and another Humax in different parts of the house and all are plagued by the same thing. Could be some sort of local interference, I guess, although weather seems to affect more...- lancer

What's Happened to This Multiplex?
Since the recent required re-tune at the Sudbury transmitter, I have noticed that all the channels on PSB1 BBCA (channel 44) are badly pixellating on some days (today bad, for instance). Radio channels on this mux are also breaking up. Checking the signal data today, I see this is coming in at...- lancer

Speaking as the OP(!), I am definitely not mistaken as it has now happened several times following a re-tune. Only ever the first recording on BBC4 SD is missed, and always with the 'picture is scrambled or unavailable' message on black background - even though recorded programme length is...- lancer

Looks like you're saying this might be unique to me, oddly. Strange. I don't remember always having the issue (though I have had it for some while now), so perhaps it appeared after that long ago update to 1.03.12. Funnily enough, I haven't had an instance of a recording failing to track this week after all the problems last week. Looks like it might have been an issue with TPTV, or elsewhere, that's now been resolved.- lancer

Sudbury is my transmitter. I'm not tuned to more than one as far as I can see. Also, it fails to record TPTV programmes when there is nothing else being recorded or watched on any channel....so don't think that's the cause in any event.- lancer

Thanks for the comments thus far. It's still at it today...and it's completely random. It will record one ok, then not another. And all only on TP. As observed, I don't think AR is relevant to this because normally when a channel has no AR support you just get the programme recorded at the...- lancer
