Thanks everyone, using the old remote to set the mode to 1 has fixed the problem. The new remote is now working beautifully 😁. I guess I must have set the mode to 6 at some point, probably due to a clash with the BT box.
Well I bought another remote off eBay (although not the link posted above as it didn't exist anymore) but the new one still has the same issue. I've tried 0 plus OK. The PVR button flashes red briefly but doesn't stay lit after 5 seconds.
If I try 0 plus OK on my old remote it comes up with...
Hi, I've bought a new remote but it doesn't control my hdr-fox T2. When I press the power button my BT box powers up🙂. How do I reset it so that it controls my hdr-fox T2?
Thanks
Thanks for this. We're cancelling our BT contract so have to return our BT TV box so using our Humax box again after several years. This switch has solved the green screen problems.
We've recently started to have issues with green screen. I've replaced the HDMI cable but that didn't help. My observations on what causes it are:
If I turn the TV on after the Humax has started a scheduled recording - green screen
If I change the TV input to something else (e.g. BT box)...
I'm using a fixed IP of 192.168.1.151, but I'm not able to resolve rs.hpkg.tv or ping 89.248.55.75:
humax# cat /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 192.168.1.1
nameserver 192.168.1.1
nameserver 208.67.222.222
humax# ping 89.248.55.75
PING 89.248.55.75 (89.248.55.75): 56 data bytes

Hi the Remote Scheduler is reporting that my Humax has not been seen since Thursday at 13.30. this time coincides with our broadband provider changing from TalkTalk to BT.
What do I need to do to "reset" things. Assume it's due to my external IP changing?
Thanks
When I connect via telnet, I get the message:
[ Humax HDR-Fox T2 (humax) 1.02.32/3.00 ]
Note: Some areas of the hard disk are not mounted.
Not all functions will be available.
(normal if you have just run a disk check)
If I then go into maintenance mode and try to run...
