Hmm, I've just looked and there has been .29 and now .32. Are these release versions or betas? If release, why hasn't it picked up the OTA updates (I leave it in standby over night)?
Fair point, although both my Blu-ray and Apple TV are not having any problems.
If I get one of those right-angle HDMI adaptors then I should be able to get at one of the ports on the TV
No, but why would that make any difference? It's been connected up the same way ever since I've had it - when they first came out so, what's that, two years or more? I've never had this happen before.
It wouldn't be so easy to try as the TV is wall-mounted and the HDMI ports are nigh on...
For the last week or so I've been getting no picture or sound from my HDR Fox-T2. It still records and changes channel etc. when it's in this state so it hasn't hung/crashed.
Powering off/on using the switch at the rear doesn't fix it, only pulling the mains plug for ~60 seconds resets it...

I might do, but it shouldn't change the fact that I shouldn't have to. If a bunch of hackers (no offence) can save the Schedule across a re-tune why can't Humax's Software Engineers?
What is really making me mad about this is that ITV are currently showing the whole of Wild At Heart...
It would appear that it was (Mendip transmitter). Thought it was just because BBC had changed 102 from BBC HD to BBC Two HD
Why? This whole digital switchover has been a joke. Turn off analogue - switch on digital - simples. Of course, Humax just compound the whole thing
As if it's not bad enough that the Humax trashes your recording schedule when you re-tune, it's now started trashing it before you re-tune.
Switched on tonight and got a message that I needed to re-tune - WHY FFS?? - and clicked 'Later' so I could take photos of the Schedule screens, only to...
I see what you're saying, but in that case surely it would stretch it both vertically and horizontally thus retaining the aspect ratio, i.e. circles would still be round? Perhaps I didn't make it clear that it is stretching vertically only, not horizontally, so circles appear as ovals.
If I play video shot on my iPhone 4S on my HDR either by putting it on a USB stick, or streaming through Serviio on my Ubuntu box or MacBook Pro, the HDR stretches it vertically even though it is full HD (1920x1080) video.
I've found that the Display Format (the WIDE button) affects this. I...
Practice? I've lost count of how many practice runs I've had for this!!
Which reflects badly on Humax. If custom firmware can do this, why can't the official f/w? Guess Humax can't be bothered
Just switched on to find the re-tune message. I hadn't seen this thread so hit Now before reading Ezra's post above so now got to re-add all my schedule and hope I don't forget anything. Is there a Formula 1 GP this weekend? If not, then it won't be in the EPG so I'll have to make a note to add...
Thanks Ezra. I thought it odd it was disabled. Can't see why recording makes any difference, but hey-ho, all sorted now :)

Had to do a re-tune which meant I lost my Favourites List so had to re-add it
As the TV was on BBC HD (channel 54) I started there and added them down to channel 1
Now when I view Favourites in the EPG they are in descending order. Switched back to List but the Sort option (red button) is...
Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I stumbled on it while looking for something else.
I've found that if you dismiss the EPG by hitting the Guide button it will still be on Favourites next time, but if you dismiss it with the Exit button it reverts to TV

Got the Hummy setup to record Sebastian Bergman at 9pm on BBC4. Fortunately when I switched on an hour ago the Hummy was already on BBC4 but just a blank screen. Same on BBC3. Other channels, eg ITV3 & More4 are OK
Thought it may be yet another DSO retune but the TV is OK. Power-cycling made no...
That's both episodes now (tonight and last Tues) of Indian Hill Railways that have not recorded. Both give "The channel is scrambled or not available" when I try to play the recordings. I can watch BBC4 live just fine - including tonight's Indian Hill Railways.
All other channels record fine...
