  I have given up and bought the Roku 2 for £60. This streams music fine and doesn't fall over when the PC has routine processes running like the T2 does. It also adds Netflix etc which the T2 doesn't have.

  I tried all the options on the HDMI menu. Doesn't seem to be any straightforward logic as the T2 worked with the display model in store which had all the same software, settings etc.

  Automatic updates are off in general. However on Windows Media Player there is no option to turn them off entirely - just to select frequency. I think the T2 interfaces with Media Player.

  Here in the UK Netflix is not available in the apps market. The only useful streaming services I use are iplayer and internet radio. Is there a way of getting Netflix on my T2? When I use my laptop via hdmi to my tv to watch Netflix there is an ever so slight flicker on panning shots. Refresh...

  Strangely a system restore on the laptop back to a point when streaming worked fine worked for me. For a while. Then the same thing happened again. Another system restore fixed it. I think there must be an automatic process on the laptop somewhere that changes the settings and then drops...

  Interesting that BMAX replaced their TV with a Panasonic Viera. It's that very brand I'm having the green screen issues. Oh well might have to stick with my 6 year old plasma for now and wait for LED technology to improve to the point where pictures look natural.

  Unfortunately I'm a 2 channel hifi man, not into surround sound, ......and the costs of buying an AV amplifier outweigh buying a new PVR which would handshake with the Panasonic plasma
