No, don't use the 'rf' command just yet. It will delete all your files.
I'm just scanning back through the other posts to see what telnet access does for you.
Aha!
Progress of sorts...
It's odd that it says 'failed' but that may be just a Windows 10 thing, other Telnet clients that I've used say 'connection refused' if it's turned off. But looks like you have the Humax CLI now
Are you using Windows 10?

Once you get to the command prompt, try typing in 'telnet' and pressing return / enter.
What OS is your Putty client running on?
Can you get to the command line by launching 'Cmd' (IIRC, sorry I'm not a Windows user).
When you get to the command line, can you run Telnet from there?
I'd come to the same conclusion and had posted my findings in case anyone else had the same problems, but since someone asked and it was only a few minutes effort, I thought I'd oblige with a Zip & Upload.
Here you go, see attached. The 'Good' .hmt has been created by the Sidecar plugin.

I think I've found the cause of the problem but not exactly what's happening in detail.
It's something to do with trying to browse or stream recordings from the HDR-T2 on a FoxSat HDR. On the HDR-T2 I have a SAMBA share and on the FoxSat I have NASMount pointing to that share so that I can...
I think the problem was caused by corrupt / incorrect sidecar files, so far I've rebuilt sidecars for 2 recordings after moving the .ts files to another directory and then re-run dectectads, all looks good. I'll do the rest but as it will take a while, I'll only report back if there are further...
I had a few recordings in the root of the My Video folder that disappeared a couple of days ago. Browsing via the WebIF and via the CLI showed that they were all still there but for some reason they did not appear when browsing via the Humax on the TV, although the parent folder did show 'nn'...
Thanks for your help, I recorded another programme this morning and all has gone well with detectads. It's a strange coincidence but I had no problems at all until the other day when the WebIf stopped working after an auto upgrade of some packages.
detectads.log & auto.log were empty but below is a snippet from chaseget.log.
I cleared the queue as suggested & then queued some sub folders for ad detection that had already been processed at an earlier date & they ran correctly. I've now queued a mix of detected & undetect ed programmes and...
I'll check the logs, do the actions you've suggested & report back. Understood re the Webif-error.log, I mentioned it just in case there might have been some relationship to the current problem.
A quick update, detectads is still working on single programmes at least.
I removed the flag from the video root & also changed the settings from 'Auto' to 'Folder flag', then ran detectads against a single programme via 'Run Now' rather than 'Background'. I'll try some more & report back.
Apologies if this has been covered, or if I've pressed too many buttons to try & fix it, but I'm having problems with Detectads:
Custom FW 3.13 installed.
Detectads is set on auto in the root 'My Video' folder and has been running without issue for a long time.
Last night, I noticed that some...
Unfortunately, the links in the list above no longer work (404 Not Found), please can someone see if the files still exist?
I'm specifically looking for the Linux Version.
Thanks
I've no idea why, but that seems to be the case based on what I discovered from some reading up & testing yesterday. I don't want to go too far into FoxSat problems on the HDR-T2 part of the forum but posted in this thread as it's the sidecar creation that caught my eye.
Just been reading this thread with my FoxSat-HDR hat on and wondered if there is / was / could be a Linux CLI version that would work for the FoxSat? I know about AV2HDR and have tried it successfully this afternoon in a VM with the 'No Remux' option. Seems that all that's needed for the FoxSat...
