Thanks for info.
However, I have just used the moved episode of Shetland (Wed 28) to set up a new series link.
It has scheduled it for Tue 27, under name “Shetland” with info description for FA Cup!!!!
The previous series entry for Shetland is showing as unscheduled.
What a mess.

I think you'll find that you need to change the version in the http path before downloading. It will the download the appropriate file.

Just installed oracle VirtualBox (free) running XP on Win 10 (i7/ssd hardware). Very impressed. VirtualBox is also supposed to run on unix, OS X, etc. And host unix, etc.
Worth a try.

Wasn't there a problem, in the distant past, where VLC couldn't see the Hummy DLNA. I'm pretty sure users had to go back level on VLC to get it to work.
Just to check, are any of our users using current version of VLC (on W10) to access via DLNA?

Or you could pull it down on Humax iPlayer viewer then use the CF file save option once the episode has finished buffering.

There you go, I knew somebody would know what should happen with value "none". So you can disregard my contribution as I was really trying to make sure that you hadn't set it to an empty group.

I'm not sure what effect "none" has but you set up favourites groups on the Hummy itself Menu=>Settings=>Channels ... my recorder is currently recording so won't let me go into channel edit but I think you will find it pretty straight forward when you get there.

Just for info, driving a rf modulator from the scart output will allow you to watch both sd and hd (recordings and live) BUT in 625 line mode (it just gets downsized).
I used to use cheap rf modulators from maplins, but they were bought a few years ago.
EDIT: they still sell them...
Just for info: BRU supports a number of metadata related items for photos and audio (e.g. Date photo taken, etc.). I've not fully explored this but have used date taken to rename photos ...

Yep, setting the appropriate options can be a bit tricky (so many to choose from!) but once you figure it out it's an excellent tool.

Another feature on some automatics is the "hold" feature. When stopping at traffic lights, etc. Pressing the brake slightly when stopped will hold the brakes on, the driver can then lift foot of the peddle and the brakes stay on. They are released by either pushing the brake pedal again or...
I think you'll find "Always on" on the Basic Settings screen (browser). It's a drop down box under Encapsulation/Connection Mode.

I have upgraded to 1.4. Great.
I have installed and setup boot-settings. As I would expect poc has now disappeared from the list of packages.
However, poc still appears in the settings list. What should I do to remove it please?
I have restarted to box several times and cleared my browser...
Version 2 also supports Netgear Genie app (iOS) for viewing status etc. Version 1 (as per my box) doesn't support it (well one bit works).
The box was quite a high spec/expensive unit in its time. As Trev says, it works fine, and is very flexible anyway, without custom firmware.
