I currently use a Netgear DGND3700 (it's a few years old now but has been reliable). It supports guest Wifi (if you want that) and all Ethernet ports are gigabit (EDITED: originally typed megabit by mistake). It also supports mu wifi printer and TP-Link W702n(s) without problems. I'm sure...
But I don't think you clarified whether you are on BT ADSL or Infinity.
By the way, I do not have a BTWifi-with-Fon environment defined on my router (never have and have been with BT for 15 years). It still doesn't stop me from using their hotspots when I'm out and about.
If you are on ADSL...
I see MovieMix has been replaced by the Sony Movie Channel today (Freeview 32).

Can anyone please advise whether tunefix-update take care of the rename on the epg or do I need to do something myself?
EDIT: Well I spoke too soon, it appears to have changed in...

It is set to use PPPoA.
Note, it won't generate a BT OpenZone hotspot unless you set the router to do so (assuming the router can support multi zones). This should not be a problem to you, unless you want a OpenZone anyway.

There was NOT a...

I should clarify, the item referred to in my original post as "their own preloaded (beta) version" appears to be a Qnap DLNA function NOT a Twonky beta.

On a similar vein, I have just installed a new server. It's a Qnap.
I am running DLNA-filter.
The Qnap has two DLNA servers available:
- twonky
- their own preloaded (beta) version.
If I run twonky the Hummy is fine, it doesn't crash and will happily play media.
However, if I run their beta...
I updated a couple of months ago. I just had to send a proof of purchase (Apples email or iTunes inventory) showing purchase. They then upgraded me to VIP not a real hassle as long as you have the proof.

Wasn't this a problem with one of the webif versions last month. If I remember rightly it could be cleared by telnetting in and entering
