I'm not a Linux user, but know a few basic commands, however, having navigated to /mod/webif/lib/bin when I enter fixencflags it says not found. Though it is listed in ls.
I assume this is something to do with the developer language.
So what command do I use please?
EDIT: sorry, you can ignore...
iPlayer was working fine for me at 22:15 this evening as well.
I am also on Sutton Coldfield transmitter, though I'm not sure whether this is relate to to the portal.
I'm sure this was covered somewhere but I can't find it.
I have a recording (Odyssey from 16 Aug) which I recorded from BBC 2 SD.
I know I haven't decrypted it but the DEC Flag/Icon is showing on WEBif.
The recording just shows blank screen when I try to play.
The file size is correct for 45 min...
I had a "disk pending sector count" error yesterday.
I am currently running Maintenance/Disk check.
It has repaired one sector but subsequently raised the following file problem:
The following file contains a corrupt block and can not be fully recovered.
You may wish to delete it or recover...
It tells you how long it is since the hummy received any IR input.
One use I can see is that you can tell how close you are to the 3 hour auto power off (assuming you set this on).
EDIT: saves the panicked scramble to find remote when the message "I will switch off in a minute if ..." occurs.
Interesting. Booted up this morning, still no "Idle time" info.
Used IR menu once, instead of physical remote.
"Idle time appeared on IE, Firefox, etc. on PC. And Chrome, Mercury on iPad.
It still did not show up on iPad Safari when I accessed via "Humax.local" but did if I accessed via IP...
Are you aware that it can be set to automatically power off after 3 hours if it does not receive any input from the Physical Remote?
me Up=>Settings=>System Management=>Power Management=>Automatic Power Down set to "on".
Just upgrade to 1.2.4 and IR 1.10.
Cleared browser cache.
Rebooted box.
But I can't see any "idle timer" info.
Tried with several browsers on iPad (safari, chrome, Mercury) and IE on PC. Same result.
Have I missed something?
Trev, precisely my point, the designers have made a rather rash assumption that people don't want to stack their kit!!
I suspect it's the usual view that their box is the only unit that people will have...
If you look in the second column "Container" you will find TS in there.
Looking at the associated formats (column 1) and sound options (column 4) it looks like you may have it covered
You may need to rename the files to mts or m2ts though, so that the player finds them.
Just checking.
I can't find it anywhere else, and that's where the wiki says it is.
I suggest you wait for Raydon to come along and give a definitive answer.
You state that the cat5 is routed under the floor. Have you checked that it does not pass over or run near power cables. It might explain why switching lights on and off affect things.
EDIT: in fact, I suspect, even turning the humax on could cause a power surge/blip in circuits ...
