accidentally deleted the modsettings folder on the t2, as its next to the deleted files folder, bit sleepy this morning! have tried to recreate it and set up folder within smb as usual, but when i click on it to edit all the criteria there are only two sub folders there, wake now and wake...- bixieupnorth

the signal problem came back again the week before last so i again arranged for the aerial man to pay a visit, by then the signal had returned again and he tested the signal at five stars. eventually we tracked the problem down to an old corroded junction box behind the corner cabinet, never...- bixieupnorth

decided to test this clever new add on, very impressive too, interesting that it picked up the lack of data within a few seconds of boot up and restored my details however, due to my well documented situation of being in the centre of two transmitters it replace a lot of channels with the ones...- bixieupnorth

all appears to be very stable, since the new transmitter has kicked in i now have 100% quality and 65-75% strength on all muxes. also having done a walk right along our road it seems that most aerials are horizontally alligned. we are the proud owners of full scaffolding for house painting at...- bixieupnorth

bt man didnt possess a signal tester, however my bb speeds have now increased to around 25mbps from 4 so i'm well happy with that!! good riddance talktalk, and hello bt sports!!- bixieupnorth

thanks for info mike, i'd spotted that it had reappeared on its own this week inbelievably, two days before the bt man arrives and i have a chance to get the aerial moved a swarm of bees appear to have taken residence in the chimney stack!!- bixieupnorth

sorted thanks, deleted the pesky little folder at last! now i just need a solution to my harmony touch keypad problem and my life will be complete again!! roll on tuesday to see if bt infinity can better the average of 4 mbps on my broadband!- bixieupnorth

i have the undelete CF installed and usually have no problem deleting everything from that folder however, recently i had a failed recording, let me entertain you, and it just appeared as an empty file, i deleted the contents and moved the title folder to the delete folder as i usually do...- bixieupnorth

i think the problem is with the "long push" setting, if i remember correctly when setting up the buttons on the harmony touch there is a choice between short push, long push or both, i've got a horrid feeling that the short push has been selected, which allows channels to be changed etc, but the...- bixieupnorth

Using more than 1 Humax box in the same room
i have managed to sort this on the supplied remote, but am struggling to do it on the harmony touch (HT). it looks like you cant do it on the HT, obviously if the remote channel has been changed to, say 2, on the supplied remote then the HT isnt gonna work. i've reset the remote channel to 1 and...- bixieupnorth
