      Just wait until some terrorist organisation sets up a heap of explosives triggered by a alert on a phone. They could take weeks setting up things in advance of another test alert, only to have a heap of infrastructure taken out at once - and they didn't even need to send a message to trigger it.

      Sorry, yes this is a feature on the HDR-Fox-T2 CF, where conflicting recordings can be identified on the RS and WebIF.

      I get frustrated with this too, especially when I am trying to set the programmes up so they don't clash/overlap but it insists on recording the first available instance of an episode, sometimes resulting in the pink bars appearing and repeated emails about impending recording clashes.

      I bought my Samsung off Amazon some years ago. It meant I got an unlocked phone so was then free to choose what providers SIM I put in it. It also happened to come with two SIM slots which allows me to have a travelling SIM local to country of destination when away.

      More likely for using a wall bracket, so you have one screw at the top, and one at the bottom, with a U-shaped bar screwed to the wall. If ceiling mounting it only one screw would be used and the speaker would have been turned upside down, if only one mounting had been provided on the speaker.

      What size stick? Not all makes of stick work, and it needs to be a reasonably small one. Anything larger than 32GB won't work because it uses a different file format.

Don't know what the financial model was when they started those services, there is obviously a significant cost behind the scenes in terms of hardware required and programming effort. I always thought gmail came about as a "me too" operation to lure people away from Yahoo...

      I just add annoying advert sights URL to my hosts file, redirecting it to 127.0.0.1. Haven't found any sight yet that hasn't been stopped this way. Also makes it easy to copy the list to another device.
