I would like to swap the HDDs on two HDRs, both of which are running CF v3.13 and the same packages/settings. One HDR has a 1 TB HDD, the other a 2TB HDD.
Is it just a case of physically swapping HDDs over?
All recordings on both HDDs have been decrypted

One of my HDRs has had this issue recently too. It just happens randomly. Strangely, it seems to happen on one box more than the other. Both units are set up with same packages etc. Both can go weeks without an occurrence then it will happen two or three times in the space of a couple of days...

I guess I just got lucky then. I bought a HDR on eBay last week for £75. Arrived in it's original box with documentation and remote control. The box was proper to the unit as both had same serial number on the labels.
Unit works a treat. Some minor marks on the front display cover. Nothing...

I have my cable modem and a Raspberry Pi connected to a 'cheap' APC UPS. The UPS is connected to the Raspberry by with the comms lead (USB) that came with the UPS. When/if the mains fails, the Raspberry Pi sends me an email.
Being a holiday home, you might not have an active Internet connection...
