Many thanks: that explains it. Serves me right: I find that with all the diverse forums I want to follow, i.e. tig welding, router custom firmware, PicoScope, Rover, the Humax custom firmware forums for Foxsat and Fox T2 HDRs, I find I start to drift away, especially when things are going...- martinr

It seems to be good now. Here’s my Youtube package This time I left it for an hour. Between 17:10 and 17:58, I was seeing nothing, whereas I would previously see frequent updates giving the percentage downloaded. I guess I’ll just have to be more patient in future. Thank you both.- martinr

I tried to download Wolf Hall episodes onto my HDR-T2 using the custom firmware download feature and copying and pasting the link from the iPlayer site. This has worked in the past, but the download never gets going. If I click on the episode in iPlayer, a dialogue opens asking me to confirm...- martinr

SOLVED: HDR-FOX T2 Unstable with 2TB HDD
Update. Since I posted back in early September, my HDR Fox T2 has been running all the time, solid as a rock, flawlessly. Previously, it would have crashed/frozen perhaps half a dozen times since then. Also, I’ve used iPlayer in the Humax portal several times, which, previously was enough...- martinr

Success and a bit of a breakthrough. I formatted the 2TB drive, fixdisk’d it and was able to copy all files across. But when I went to the Portal the box crashed. After trying a couple more times, with the unit crashing again, eventually I was able to get to iPlayer. But then I got...- martinr

SOLVED: Recordings not showing in CFW GUI only
Thanks, Luke. Looking closer, I now see that where there is a folder containing 2 or more episodes of a series, the thumbnails and correct dates are present on the programmes inside that folder, and I can fast forwards. Also, the Info does display when the button is pressed twice...- martinr

I’ve done something daft when copying the recordings from my 500GB drive to the new 2TB drive. Other than looking in the cfw gui, you wouldn’t know anything’s wrong: using the remote control to bring up Media shows all the recordings and plays them.
