I did do this some time back and, fingers crossed, all seems to be well at the moment.
Once again thanks for all the suggestions and apologies for the tardiness my reply.
This has been off my radar for a few weeks. I've had a few problems with the Green Screen over the last week. I think I'll disconnect the peripherals as suggested and do a few reboots to see how I get on.
This issue has been about for a while. If I have to power down one or both my T2's, they reboot a few times before settling down. When press the TV Portal button, BBC iPlayer and select something to watch, it will invariable reboot a few times before I am able to view what I want.
I have the...
Well this issue has been on the back burner for a while so I've had another go at it.
I went back to basics and started again with the 120 Gbyte SSD and the USB3 caddy. I have installed Window 7 alongside 10 on my Laptop since my last attempt. I booted into 7, and used EaseUS Partition Master...
Thanks for that. I think the Fire TV is HDMI 2.0 and that worked with the switches ||I returned to Amazon. The one I have now, which is the cheapest at under £6.00 shows video but no audio from the Fire TV and sound but no video from the T2 and Foxsat.
I have not tried that but I will now...
I ordered a different one and had the same problem with that. I have a switcher, 3 in 1 out, which is a few years old which works with no problems. It seems it's a HDCP problem, sound but no video, and the one which works is HDMI 1.3. I'm now ordering the third one from Amazon which is ...
Happy New Year all.
I have a four input HDMI switch from Amazon. It arrived today and I get a picture from the mazon Fire TV box, but nothing from either T2 HRD or the Foxsat HDR. It has a PIP feature and I see what the Humax's are tuned to, but if I select them I get sound but no video. I've...
Still no go with this issue. I think I may have lost my way somewhere and starting from scratch might be the best option. I'm going to have a look at the Wiki and follow that from the start.
This is the info on what FW I have ETC.
Although not of any consequence for this problem, I think that...
I've got the custom firmware and I have the same partition wizard. I'll have a look at prepping another drive and start from scratch. Thanks for your input.
Still little progress. Latest format Ext3, but the drive still doesn't show up on Media, Blue Button. If I select a file and press opt+ I see a couple of other drives but if I try to copy to them I get a "not enough space" error. I've not seen an MBR option when formatting. I've got Ubuntu...
I've formatted the drive to FAT32. Still doesn't show up when I select Media and press the blue button. However if a select a file, and press opt+ I see three options for the destination to save it to. The only one I can copy it to is "gpt-drive2". If I copy a file to there it stops at 58.16...
I didn't see your post Graham before I posted the above. As you can see I've tried a USB3 cradle which has a separate PSU and likewise a USB2 or maybe 1 with its own PSU, with the same results.
