  Hi all Video Resolution (V-Format, see page 12 of the manual) options are 576i,576p,720p,1080i and 1080p. I use 1080p but ideally would prefer to have the additional option of ‘Original (no processing)’ to allow my TV to carry out all necessary up scaling/processing. I doubt it is possible...

  Thanks for the explanation/info Ezra Pound. I do use 'Fan' (IMO, a great addition to the already excellent CF) set at 40%, so my Humax is very quiet all the time.

  Thanks Ezra Pound and af123. I had changed power off to 01:00 so that explains why it's happening. Hi Black Hole. Does the fan come on when recording in standby? I'm not sure so set power on to 18:00 so that if I'm out I know the fan will come on. Would appreciate confirmation...

  Hi all Power Off Timer was set to 2.15 and on the 28th October Auto Backup occurred at 02:08 as normal. From 29 October, Auto Backup now happens when I manually switch on (out of standby). I did set Power On Timer to 18:00 but as I normally manually switch on (from standby) before 18:00...

8. Redring Log has suddenly stopped working!
  
  For anyone interested, Redring log has stated again (all on it's own) with message 'Fri Oct 4 16:47:22 2013: Persistent log starting, v2.10'. Very weird!

  Hi all I cleared the Redring log a few days ago and although Redring (the package) still appears to be working ok, no new log entries have appeared so far. Is a log entry only created if there is a problem?

12. Stopping (4.30am) Auto update
  
  Personally, I don't need the EPG to be refreshed at 4.30am as I normally power up manually 30 mins or so before using, each evening. It is already set to power off at 2.15am. To cover for times when away or 'late home', is it possible to use/set the power on timer to say 4:30pm without it...

  Hi all I have Disable-OTA installed but have just noticed that Program Schedule includes Auto update. Not sure if this was there before I saved and restored the schedule when retuning to get Film4. Other than checking at 4.30am, how can I confirm Disable-OTA is working ok?

Redring Log has suddenly stopped working!

For anyone interested, Redring log has stated again (all on it's own) with message 'Fri Oct 4 16:47:22 2013: Persistent log starting, v2.10'. Very weird!

Stopping (4.30am) Auto update

Personally, I don't need the EPG to be refreshed at 4.30am as I normally power up manually 30 mins or so before using, each evening. It is already set to power off at 2.15am. To cover for times when away or 'late home', is it possible to use/set the power on timer to say 4:30pm without it...
