As the kitchen TV doesn't have any smart capability or a ethernet port, it's just a small 18"er. I think the cables with splitter and converter etc, is the best bet and cheapest, i'll probably go for that option. Thanks for all comments.
I don't need to cast to both TVs just the kitchen one as the lounge one will be connected to both boxes. The rest of your reply is correct, that is exactly what we want.
I just have. I had actually did a live chat to a guy on the Hummy website about 2 weeks ago when I saw the Aura and he said that the built in Chromecast only works to receive a signal not transmit, so you can send a movie etc from a phone/tablet to your main TV.

I've just installed the custom firmware and the webif on my pc and was wondering if it can be used from an ipad so when i'm away I can check or set a recording. I tried to log into my ip address but it didn't work
