No I was not able to. I have not been able to find the latest file version 1.03.12 to download from the internet. I have the latest version auto installed by the OTA. I have performed updates of previous versions before which I downloaded so don't have a problem doing it.

No odd rules in the router.
Yes I can get iPlayer on the PC but the problem was getting the portal page which I don't even get to see to even select iPlayer.
After a very long time with the TV left in Portal mode I get the message "Cannot connect to network. Please check your internet connection or network settings.".
Is it possible that with Humax logging on their server by MAC address that it is them that are not allowing the connection? Maybe...
DHCP - Yes
IP - 192.168.1.21
Mask - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.1
DNS - 192.168.1.1
Network Connected appears on the screen after you select Apply.
LAN - 192.168.1.1
PC - 192.168.1.2
Couldn't find a ping facility but tracert responded in 4ms.
I am using DHCP via a box plugged in a socket, forgotten what they are called, upto a Netgear router. The IP assigned is 192.168.1.20. All seems correct. All that has changed is the using of the wall socket things. I will try taking the router downstairs and plugging directly in to it. I used to...
So just to get this absolutely straight, if you have a totally standard box the TV Portal no longer works and you need to go down the custom software route?
No. I have not installed any custom software so far. So the box is standard with version 1.03.12 updated on 7/2/2014, Loader version a7.30 and Micom Version 9.2.

I have not used the TV Portal for quite a long time but now the page will not appear. When you press the portal button you briefly see an hourglass icon but that is all. The box itself on the front panel scrolls the text Humax TV Portal etc. If you go into the menu install settings you can see...
