Yeah, I thought so too. Don't know what the financial model was when they started those services, there is obviously a significant cost behind the scenes in terms of hardware required and programming effort. I always thought gmail came about as a "me too" operation to lure people away from Yahoo...- antipodean

cant process certain files
maybe leave the box out of standby overnight (see the log comments for the defer entries)? Under Settings/'Auto-Process Settings' what are the settings for: - "How often should auto-processing run" "Suspend Auto-processing if will record soon" "... how many minutes is soon" On mine I have 6...- antipodean

A non Christmas Ad vent.
I just add annoying advert sights URL to my hosts file, redirecting it to 127.0.0.1. Haven't found any sight yet that hasn't been stopped this way. Also makes it easy to copy the list to another device.- antipodean

Another computer question...
I'm not sure you can on a command line, unless you go 'copy . destination' when in the directory whose files you wish to copy. ugh - same problem as you with asterisks, it has just left the 'dot' of the wildcard asterisk-dot-asterisk.- antipodean

I've been recording the 'Handmade ...' series and noticed that Sundays episode of the Handmaids Tale was being included. I just did a 'skip this episode' on Handmaids Tale. Mexico F1 Times incorrect
For 'adjustment time' I was meaning the 2am point where real clocks jump forward or backward an hour. Sorry I wasn't clear enough on that. Have now checked my Webif visual schedule and that shows a full hour program (where the RS is showing only about a 1/4 hour, i.e. 0 time plus pre and post...- antipodean

yeah, but an 11:30 start is well after the adjustment time. It used to be a real problem when BBC/ITV were doing the live broadcasts as the race was across the adjustment time, so to some degree was understandable.- antipodean

Looking at the Remote Scheduling Visual page for next Sunday, the times for start and finish of the Mexico F1 Qualifying seem to be stuffed up - I suspect due to daylight saving being turned off. It looks like the start time is set to BST and the finish to GMT. Don't know if this is a stuff up...- antipodean
