RS suggestion - create auto schedule from EPG view
I have another suggestion for RS. I would like the ability to create an Auto scheduling entry from the EPG. i.e I have found a program in the EPG and already have the options to record series / program / set reminder. Automatically picking alternative broadcasts that go back-to-back with other recordings
In my case the one that moved was a single recording - a film, so there was no series as such. I presume it just worked on the program ID and found the earlier showing of it and moved the schedule to be 'helpful'. And I can quite understand that some users would rather have everything recorded...- rowanmoor

You are right. I have the amp set not to pass through when it is turned off (as it saves quite a bit of power) so power cycling the amp also gets the connection working. Yes - it was because it was different channels that the problem happened. If they were the same channel then the full program would have been somewhere, and the main channels do seem to be quite accurate with the AR signals now (a lot better than a few years ago) so I would expect it to have...- rowanmoor

I did check the order and the Humax is last, but the TV takes a lot longer to turn on so I think that is the cause of the problem. It may behave better if it is Amp, Humax then TV but I'm not sure how the whole HDMI sync process works when there are 3 items all syncing together like that. I...- rowanmoor

I have the Hummy going through a Denon amp to a 2013 Panasonic TV. I use a Harmony to control them all. I find that when I turn them all on from standy - and so all 3 are turning on at the same time, I nearly always get no signal from the Humax (black screen and no sound). That is what I am doing at the moment. From my experience of the early days of the Toppy that sort of thing can get quite complicated over time - an endless battle to keep adding 'exceptions' to the searches when you have a lot of searches set up. I think our use cases are very different :) We record very little that would classify as 'keep long term'. That is just the odd disney film and the like that gets moved off onto the NAS box for the kids. Everything we watch is timeshift, but that timeshift window is very large hence at any...- rowanmoor

That is the kind of thing. It is about user friendly management and being able to find/classify stuff more easily. I can certainly see that Sweeper (possibly with flatten) could do what I want. But in practice that would involve setting up enormous numbers of rules and having everything that is recorded as a series (most stuff for us) being moved into My Video and then refiled (potentially into the original...- rowanmoor

My comment was in response to yours saying you sometimes get a long(ish) delay before it will come up in iOS. It has gone rather off topic. I will look into that issue more on my system and open a new thread about it when I have so that this one stays on track.- rowanmoor

When they are working there is specific element style in the html to set the width correctly, but when they are not working there is specific element style to set the width to something else which is too narrow (like 10px, 13px or even 0px for the different parts that make up the slider vs...- rowanmoor

[CFW 3.00] Customised Firmware version 3.00 released.
I think the truncated on/off settings must be the WebIf update not the CFW as I have the same and I have not updated to 3.00 yet. I found that pressing Ctrl-F5 would sort it for a particular set of settings (Firefox or Chrome on a PC) so presumably clearing the browser cache would solve it...- rowanmoor

I have found of late that using WebIf from iOS is virtually impossible. Every tap it just sits there forever waiting for the web page. While it is doing that I can browse around fine from a number of different browsers on a PC or Android. It used to work, but I'm not sure when it stopped...- rowanmoor

Yes - it was because it was different channels that the problem happened.
