Unfortunately I think most users who were thoroughly P! $$€ d-0££ with humax over the automatic retuning have installed custom firmware and fixed the issue themselves.
Obviously users shouldn't have to be messing around with their PVRs in order to get them to record consistently so I support you...
I can recommend the seagate pipeline 2tb - i must admit I did have an issue with my first one which started to die before its time - however it was swapped without fuss under warranty.
Yeah its only because there are a few new channels that I want to put slap bang in the middle of my current list :-)
I should just get on with doing it instead of investing all this time trying to work round it :-)
Thanks Ezra - that file looks like it could be easy enough to edit - at least with respect to reordering the list - just a bit of careful cut and pasting :-)
Would prefer a nice slick webif plugin to modify favourite lists but I'm happy enough modifying the backup file directly if there isn't...
Hi,
Another cheeky feature request...
I've never been a fan of the "renumber" package - i much prefer using the humax on the box favourites feature to get rid of unwanted channels and re order the ones I want to keep.
That being said - actually creating the favorites list so that the channels...
Sorry to revive on old thread - not sure if any of the newer "slow epg" threads have any new info - apologies if they do. Just thought I'd share some new observations....
So I'll start by saying that I was initially quite vocal about how slow the epg was on 1.03.xx I found it completely...
Tell I lie! Doesn't display on android chrome either - just depends on how many queued items I have. Any more than 2 and the ad shift over and covers the button...
Not a big issue though.
Just a small remote scheduling website issue to report. Currently when I view the rs website on my android phone the Google ad on the home page obstructs the button to view the top 100 most popular programs. I use that feature a lot on the go is it possible to move the ad slightly?
You do seem to end up with slightly less recording capacity by letting the humax partition the drive rather than follow the partitioning guide af123 wrote. I followed the guide on my first 2tb drive and it reported 1.8tb free. My replacement drive I let the humax do and it reports 1.78tb free...
Some people find AR unreliable precisely because it relies on the ID - the two are inexorably linked.
When people say "I find AR unreliable" they're not referring to the HDR's implementation but rather the fact that AR relies on the fallible broadcasters.
But, like you, I always use AR and very...
Think that hits the nail on the head. It's not that the slower epg is that bad taken on its own - but if you're used to 1.02 then the epg on 1.03 just feels wrong.
Posted on the move
@af123 - if you were a "power user" like tell and wallace you wouldn't notice this problem. Us average users just need to read the manual ;-)
Like you I'm surprised the laggy epg didn't get picked up in the beta test. My guess would be that it was indeed flagged but humax underestimated the...
