  MP3 is an output option. MP3DirectCut is far better for topping and tailing as is does not need to re-encode after the edit. The interface takes some getting used to, but it's worth the effort

  Default is aac, but it can be anything that ffmpeg can handle. If you have a Raspberry pi knocking around, it's an ideal platform for get_iplayer

  We bought one and we're very pleased with it. We run Plex on our unraid server and it works fine. Got the £4.99 entertainment pass and watching The Tunnel on Sky Atlantic and surprisingly, no adverts. Might fork out for another month.

  How to remove Orange filter?
  
  We swapped out our failing hard drive yesterday, (straight swap, 1TB) and we de-tangoed at the same time. That 12 way connector is a git to remove, but the results are well worth the effort.

  I was running "For the Record" and ComSkip was a post recording process. So you ended up with a VideoReDo project file with all the edits already marked. And yes I found it better than Ad Detective

  Thanks for the reply. Yes I've run fix-disk, but without the /fix option. Do I just append /fix to fix-disk? Sorry I was been lazy. I've just googled it and fix-disk automatically repairs any errors. But we are still getting the problem, so I guess the drive is on it's way out
