Well anyone that knew the f******g radio still worked would've got Uhura to call in for some help from someone who still had their Warp Core firmly seated in their Warp Core Slot!!!!! :D:D:D
Love it!! All this started with wanting the ring to light up more in standby, and now after all that we get here with the ability to turn it off altogether!!! Sounds like most of the projects we do at my place!!
That sounds handy - so I could have lets say a 'Kids Stuff' folder showing in My Video as if it was on the Hummy disk - but actually the folder is on the external HDD? That sounds like nice easy navigation. Could this be something for the Webif where you navigate to and select a folder on the...
Can't believe I googled this but hey this is the Hummy Arms...and isn't this kind of guff what the internet was invented for (or was it free porn?)
Yes it would have been impulse engines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impulse_drive is apparently not the same as warp drive...
Lets face it - at the time when we all first watched it, the best inventions on Star Trek were the female uniforms and the green skinned belly dancer!!
I guess when af123 releases the version of SysMon which looks at CPU load someone will eventually have to say "she cannae go any faster" - and at some point af will get a suggestion for the CF and have to say "dammit Jim I'm a doctor programmer, not a miracle worker"
You had a cat AND coal to spare!! And you thought we was lucky!! Blimey we could only afford to gather round the candle on even numbered days and birthdays (or at least until the guest of honour blew it out and wished for another candle!!)
I originally put 3 but changed it for some reason - I can remember the arrival of channel 4 bursting into life after school one day with Countdown!! What an intro! And later their genius moment of putting a little triangle in the corner of the screen if there was something worth watching about...
That would have been Schedule Backup v0.1 (remember to use phone or digital camera to photograph the schedule list before re-tune then enter it back in again yourself afterwards!!). Aah the dark old days before the CF - only 4 channels, they all switched off for the afternoon and ended the...
Have you tried front and rear USB sockets? I seem to remember people reporting mixed experiences between the front and the back sockets, it may make no difference but it will be free to try with nothing to lose. Also for me I always have to unplug the HDD plugged into the back socket before an...
Well as this seems to have become the 'scorecard' thread I thought I'd point out that there was me watching for the 20,000th post - apparently looming according to the stats on the front page. So then (based on past experience with every other stat we've tried to watch) I thought I'd better...
Luckily the critique only extended to my use of capitals which I have just corrected - seems I'm not going to get a discharge for being mad after all - wibble!!]
I'm sure Ezra will paste something in for you if your experience and learnings can be compiled. It serves as a reminder that sometimes it does take a fresh look at something to uncover where the instructions aren't always as clear as was thought.
Actually to try and answer mihaids original question
Fully on would be 16p * 0.028kWh = 0.5p per hour
standby would be 16p * 0.001kWh = erm - a very small amount of pence per hour - the calculator said 0.016p !!
A question was asked in This Thread about the costs of keeping the box on all day vs Standby vs Low Power mode etc, so I thought it best to do this over here as I have a feeling my bumbling mathmatical efforts are likely to be pulled to bits so here goes (and even if I am wrong at least by the...
I'm going to start a new thread in the Hummy Arms for this because I have a feeling it will drag this thread way off track :) so I'll edit in the new thread once I've done the first post.
Once it's in the cut folder I think you just have to wait for it to check for a file to cut (not sure how often it checks though) then you get a Done folder when it's finished.
Ezra must be on his lunch break so I'll do it - there's an Edit On Box section on the wiki Here that might help
