Yes I can, sometimes.
I was a paid Reception Advice Expert (actual job title) for a time, last Century.
Google Image search also finds it and I did cross-reference the picture cf the Antference website https://antiference.co.uk/product/pro-series-amplifiers/ to be sure. ;) There's no other...
OK that proves for that single frequency the aerial alone is insufficient and is giving troubled reception for the Sony as well as the Humax. It also suggests that overload is unlikely.
What about all the other frequencies from Angus, though? Those are equally as important to know to aid...
It is not 4G interference in all likelihood (though such signal can swamp amplifiers affecting more than one mux frequency typically). 4G was ch 61+ clearance aka 800 MHz and what AT800 as Restore TV was formerly known as, was set up for.
5G uses ch49-60 aka 700 MHz clearance of UHF TV band...
We'll have to agree to disagree on your issues being transmitter planned maintenance work related. But I'm not suggesting any expensive receive antenna related work for this poster... at least not yet. ;)
Nothing planned this week as I stated clearly in my post yesterday. In any case there's only one mux affected. An Arqiva owned one. 3dB down on the PSBs. I believe that planned work 'message' relates to main-reserve antenna switching as the duplicated transmit kit is otherwise pretty much...
I'd argue that the aerial is not mounted correctly as the pole passes through the X-shaped elements. Normal is for the cradle to be fixed to the very top of the pole and to clear the roof apex by a bit more than that install does.

Location? (Postcode of shop pub, church within 100 m of the home for prediction purposes).
What transmitter.
What aerial type?
What amplifier make and model?
Is this a recent change in reception?

Mismatch on code is the most likely if a proper Humax remote... Wallace has linked to the solution!
If that doesn't work then the "Humax remote" isn't genuine... and is fixed to the 'default code'. A pretty common issue.
It may be possible to use the BT remote to reset the Fox-T2 to default...
freesat and Arris between them have messed up the box and updates have messed up even more.
OP's could probably remedy issue of HiDR by setting box to output 1080p and connecting direct to TV and disabling HDR on that hdmi input... but as that doesn't fit their preference :speechless:
There's...
Nope that statement just shows how ignorant you are on LNB and dishes and haven't done a simple Google / Bing to find out more... https://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/lnb.htm is a good basic start.
A SCR LNB might be available for a prime focus dish? https://www.satellitesuperstore.com/lnbs.htm may...
@Black Hole I never read it as the HDR-Fox-T2 had reception issues. Only the TV on pass-through... although a second look at line 2 of the original post, I see it could easily be read as the HDR-Fox-T2 having problem.
I took it as the TV tuner only... and immediately suspected the power save...
PVR's RF O/P connector or the fly lead female to male is where my money is on...
But the new cable direct is the better solution; and you can save energy with the power saving in standby option now!
Bonus.
But you can't get a wideband LNB to fit a dish like the OP has...
The Triax module takes the Quattro inputs (or a Quad as it happens) and will then allow dSCR (single cable up to 16 tuners on specific IF frequencies, called for by the receiver box) to be sent on two outputs and legacy mode on...
Kilvey Hill transmitter (Swansea). A group A Vertically polarised transmitter (and always has been).
Those signal level numbers aren't the full story (need Q, too) but show a relatively weak signal in to my eyes. {Frequency ch 27 is the HD multiplex.} But if all channels are working on the...
No need for LNB change at the dish (in any case there is no compatible $ky wideband LNB as far as I know for prime focus dishes).
The freesat 4k box will work with dSCR (single cable) as well as wideband and universal/legacy feeds.
So a replacement of (or add-on to) the multiswitch will do the...
Why? You'll find most of them will be 'IP blocked' in Switzerland without a very, very good VPN service and they are anyways typically better supported via devices like FireTV sticks. The Foxsat-HDR once upon a time did some On Demand stuff but has been dropped by the broadcasters from...
Yep. Most strange. Open er up and disconnect the HDD cables --- does the remote and box then behave ?
The Foxsat-HDR has a text display that shows "BOOT" in a white/blue lettering when switched on from standby... and other stuff in addition to a red light. OP has no mentions of that...
First thing to do is a fix-disk using the maintenance mode and you'll need telnet . You should have done that rather than reformatting the disk in the first place. See the WebIF documentation> Custom Firmware > Custon Apps (preinstalled) tab.
A >1TB disk needs setting up (formatting and...
