Great.
So will it be possible for the remote scheduling portal to use the C4 SD EPG to populate the C4HD (non freesat) channel?
Or give you the option when you schedule a C4SD recording to actually record the HD version.
That would be awesome.
Yet another reason why a hackable box is so much...
Ok - that makes sense.
No idea why my box didn't housekeep. Maybe I'd left it on by accident.
Sounds like as long as the channel stays available in non-freesat mode it's not too big an issue.
To clarify the situation:
- to watch C4HD live you have to switch to non-freesat mode - so doable but...
Ah - for some reason looks like it hasn't done a housekeeping boot for a few days
> Last housekeeping boot : Tue Feb 20 03:00:17 GMT 2018
Does that mean if we can prevent the box doing housekeeping we could keep C4HD at 126? (Any idea how?)
Or is there any way the CF could be patched so as to...
How odd!
I have a FOXSAT-HDR with custom firmware (v 4.1.3)
Just checked and it's still there on slot 126 as normal.
I noticed earlier in the week when the news broke that my C4HD EPG was filled in up until 6am Sat morning, but not beyond and that's still the case.
So I suspect it'll go by...
I don't think C4HD has left freesat yet (even though they said it would leave yesterday).
It's still showing in its usual Freesat slot - but the EPG only goes up to the end of today (friday).
So I suspect Sat is when it'll actually go - and we'll find out whether it's staying FTA.
That would be great.
As you say - lets see what actually happens.
I guess it's just possible they'll do a last minute deal and it'll stay in freesat after all. We can hope...
This seems like very bad news.
At least according to this we'll still be able to get it in non-freesat mode:
http://www.satandpcguy.com/2018/02/20/how-to-add-c4hd-to-your-humax-freesat-box/
If so - how does that work with the custom firmware?
Is there any way to add a manual timed recording to...
A few months back I posted my unfortunate experience when I suddenly found lots of my recordings corrupted (basically due to weird random deletion of many files.)
Since then I've left the customised firmware on but not really used it very much. In that time I've not noticed any further...
It's hard to know when it happened but I'd say it's still possible that all the deletions happened on a single occasion.
I've now made a definitive list of the damaged recordings so I'll know for sure if any more get deleted.
Perhaps this was a one off freak occurance that won't ever happen...
The situation is worse than I realised. I tried playing one of the recordings that looked OK (thumbnail there, filename correct) and it wouldn't play "Unknown Error". Went through all my recordings and almost half of them are like this.
Looked via ftp and in those cases the support files are...
Well I definitely didn't delete them. It it were one file I could conceivably deleted one by accidents but its lots of files.
I was doing various reboots when I was testing out the HDRBoot. Is it possible that I rebooted whilst auto-unprotect was doing its stuff and that could have cause the...
It looks like the .hmt files have been deleted. In some cases the other files (.nts .thm .hmi) are still there, in other cases everything has gone except for the .ts file.
So that explains what's happened, but why? And is there any way to reconstruct the .hmt file from the ts?
I'm using a 2tb Western Digital USB drive. Never had any problems with it before.
I'm running HD_FOX_T2_1.02.20_mod_1.14
Installed packages are:

cron-daemon 1.18.3-1

Hi,
I've recently loaded the latest custom firmware onto my HD-FOXT2 which was very easy and also got HDR Booting to work (slightly more fiddly - can't get the moving directory flag to work but using telnet works fine) and managed to decrypt some recordings.
All seemed to be well, but I've now...
