Ahhh right I see, I'll try setting them to numbers below 800. Also I just read that I should remove tunefix, rescan to get a new baseline and then install tunefix again to make any channel changes. Humax not receiving channels that the TV does.
Hi guys, sorry if this isn't in the right place. Please delete if so. I noticed some channels on my Humax had an error message saying it was scrambled or no signal. The TVs feed comes through the Humax so I'm not sure what's going on. In my case, the Humax isn't picking up channel 42 at all...- notapom

Unable to ping, 'destination host unreachable'. Don't worry about it, I'll have to start switching the TV off at the mains when not in use. Thanks for your help.- notapom

The only difference in the setup since the issue has started occuring is the introduction of the Humax. It 100% is the cause of the issue. I'm at the point where I'm just going to have to turn the TV off at the mains when it isn't in use.- notapom

I'm running Windows 10. I've successfully set up an ad hoc connection by following a guide, I still can't connect to the Humax so I'm obviously missing something. Is there a guide on here to help with this? I've searched the forum but unfortunately can't find anything.- notapom

I tried this originally but my laptop won't connect to the humax with a direct cable. I've also tried using an old router with no joy. If I bring the current router to the Humax, it also doesn't work. If I take the Humax to the router while it's still connected to the phone line, then it works...- notapom

I switch on/off as needed. I did read DetectAds switches the Humax on if your using chase ads but yeah I don't have anything recording during the day. I'll have a look through the logs tomorrow then. I can't look now as the Humax is too far from the router, I have to move the Humax and TV near...- notapom

I've had this issue for a week or 2 now. I come in and the TV is turned on, not necessarily to the hdmi 1 port the Humax is connected to but to whatever source the TV was last using (usually hdmi 2 for the laptop). I actually do like the RM-I0U9. It feels solid and the RM-F04 looks light and flimsy. I'll go down the route of remapping certain buttons first and see how that goes. Oh my god! I would have never figured that out. Thank you so much! Tunefix still loses BBC 2 though, even after I add the space. I managed to move it using the SQL codes after a factory reset/fresh install. For future reference, should I be using quotation marks in tunefix also? Currently I am...- notapom

Ok, so i hope this is done right. I used both @MymsMan and @peterworks advice. I got the channel.db file from cmd and from chrome. The 2 files had different sizes so i attached both, also the default_channel.db file, not sure if that's needed. Thanks everyone for your help. Sorry for being a spesh.- notapom

When i get to the password, it wont let me enter anything. It won't let me ctrl+v the password either. The curser still flashes. Enter is the only key it responds to. It then says 530 login incorrect, login failed when i hit enter as i haven't input my password. Edit: Ignore this, i've sorted...- notapom
