Realize that of course, but usb install surely only gives limited initial interface, it seems to me that you then need to download full version via internet or, as I do, add additional packages from usb, having obtained them from the hummypkg website via the local library...currently if I click...
I thought screensaver selection by WebIf required the use of the package management screen/s which I don't have access to, not having the full interface/Internet connection. If this is not the case, I'm all ears!.
Hi all. Trying to select screensaver via Telnet, having the same problems as described on previous pages, I'm using windows 7 Telnet client, not putty. Any suggestions on how to fix this?.
Any chance these could be made available as a customised firmware package download, for those of us without full Web If interface? (no access to package management).
Had the 'recording failed no signal' message last night on two recordings, both actually there and complete. Have also had a programme supposedly not recorded because another recording had taken priority?, also there and complete...
Took the 'radical' step of deleting the errant 'My Video' folder and creating a new one. So far, working prefectly. File Association too is fine, can open Audio/Video files directly into editors for further work. Thanks to all for the advice...
I have tried using the download option from opt+ to copy files before, but this just put the file into a temporary folder (never could find where that was) before opening it and playing it with Windows Media Player. (I'm told that's a feature of IE web browser, but couldn't figure out how to...
Daft question, but manually shrinking/decrypting HD files, then using Internet Download Manager to copy to Laptop HDD for editing by using the DLNA URL wouldn't somehow create duplicate files on the Humax?.
Opened the file editor and checked my video folder, it seems to contain previous recording info, the information files that are created when a recording is made?. the .hmt/.thm/.nts ones, not the actual .TS
Folder contains 7.5GB of (visible) recordings. Web-If & Hummy's HDD indicate 15GB in there. Are duplicates being created/stored elsewhere? if yes, how can I get rid of them?. This folder has Auto-Shrink & Auto-Decrypt enabled if that gives a clue.
TIA,

We got there in the end! is there then a package that will transcode the audio once it has been extracted with ffmpeg?! as it stands, the extracted 'mp3' file will not play or be recognised by the editor/converter of choice on my PC, I can convert using other methods, but this seems like an...
