      I was poking around trying to see how the fan package worked (can't locate the source yet) and spotted a potential issue: libfan.so is sucked into humaxtv via an LD_PRELOAD, but udhcpc and tinyftp also end up using it. I imagine this might indicate they are started up (indirectly?) by humaxtv...

      Something that puzzled me today was that some recordings from Motors TV showed up as HD in the media browser. This was somewhat hilarious, as their broadcasts are actually spectacularly low def (dunno how/why they get such a lousy picture - the bandwidth doesn't actually seem to be any...

      After a couple of years of meaning to get around to installing the CF on my HDR, I finally did it today, and wow, it's great! :) I've already been playing with a few bits and pieces (e.g. freed up quite a bit of space with shrink and then auto-shrink), and plenty more to come.
