That's interesting. It's odd that the problem is 100% repeatable with the lunchtime news on BBC1HD. I wonder if there's something specific about that programme that makes it more prone to exhibit this problem.
Sorry yes I meant the right arrow button, not the FF button! I use it all the time to skip forward 4 minutes (i.e. ad skipping), but on this occasion it refused to work every time I tried it (and there were alot of ad breaks in the 2 hour programme!)
I've also noticed that the FF button (yes I...
I was watching a 2-hour recording of "The Last Leg of the Year" (on C4) last night. Whenever there was an ad break I hit the Skip (right arrow) button twice, which usually skips forward 4 minutes. On this occasion it was taking me back to the start of the programme every time (evening though the...
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I can't find any option in the settings to revert to a lower HDMI version.
Haven't looked into downgrading firmware though.
Odd that it works fine in the majority of cases
I was prompted to update my LG TV (OLED65C24LA) to the latest software a few days ago. Since the update, there have been glitches when starting up the TV using CEC from my Humax Aura remote.
I have the Humax Aura connected to HDMI 1 on the TV, with the "small" power button on the Humax remote...
If anyone near West London is looking for a second-hand HDR-Fox T2 mine is currently on eBay/FB Marketplace for £45, but I'd take £40 cash if anyone wants to collect it. I put the original 500GB drive back in, as I'd tried an upgrade to a Seagate 2TB drive and was getting some glitches when...
AH OK thanks - found it. I already had HDMI Deep Colour turned off.
Thanks for the tip about the S/AD button. The main HD channels look just about OK most of the time, and the settings are showing the sources as 1080p, but sometimes the picture looks distinctly low-resolution. There was a...
I can't find that setting on the TV. There's a Colour Depth setting (currently 60) under Advanced Settings, but I don't see an HDMI Deep Colour setting anywhere???
Sorry I've just seen your reply. The TV is an LG OLED65C24LA. I've just done a manual retune, on the advice of Humax customer support, but the picture still doesn't look HD. Is there a way of telling what the resolution of the source content is? (The TV info always shows 4K, presumably because...
I previously had a problem where my new Aura would only display in HD if I set the HDMI resolution to 1080p/60Hz - if I set it to Auto or 4K it would display the picture in SD.
Now it is displaying everything in SD regardless of what the HDMI resolution setting is. If I plug a different...
I just found this in the Windows Event viewer from last night. I'm not sure what's happening as the service was running fine, and there is a DvrOnTime.mdf file in C:\Program Files\DvrOnTime\ - it's 73MB. The service had been running fine up to that point. Any ideas?
Error connecting to the...
Thanks. The reason for downloading is that the DVROntime service keeps stopping on my Windows 10 machine. The latest version doesn't seem to resolve this.
Since there's very little else installed on this machine I'm not sure what can be causing it.
Sorry if this question has been asked before, but what is the procedure for installing DVROntime v1.0.7 over the top of v1.0.6?
I've downloaded the zip file for v1.0.7 and it advises that the upgrade procedure requires uninstalling then re-installing DVROntime, but there is no setup.exe file in...
I'm wondering if this is related to a problem that I have (documented in a different thread)....basically if I have HDMI Resolution set to Auto on the Aura I get BBC1HD and ITV1HD in standard definition. If I change HDMI Resolution to 1080p/60Hz I get a HD picture.
???
I've just bought an Aura and can confirm that it has a DLNA server. I've tried watching recordings using VLC on a Windows PC on the same network and it seems to work fine.
Thanks - those links seem to point to the same .apk - I get exactly the same problem when I install the apk manually in Bluestacks.
However....I tried installing one of the other Android emulators mentioned - LDPlayer - and managed to get the Aura app working.
I guess Bluestacks has a...
