Do you have all the custom firmware packages up to date? (We have seen a number of cases recently where users with problems had been running very old versions of the custom firmware).
Take all the time you need. I think the point we were trying to get across was that it should be possible with what you have. It would help if you could tell us what type of broadband you have,
Yes, you will lose the backwards EPG and a few bits of the forward EPG but otherwise it should be fine.
Yes but you need to install a third party app such as VLC to do it.
If the data was being cached then I would it expect it to be available immediately but there is a distinct delay before it appears which is similar to what happens when using the backwards EPG. I guess the real test would be to disconnect the box from the internet and see what happens.
Just to finish this topic off, the programme that was broadcast at 19:00 was indeed the A303 so the over the air guide was correct. The programme did start with the continuity announcer saying that it was a change of schedule. The test highlights were on BBC2 at the same time and recorded...
I think the attached image is an example of the Aura getting confused by a mismatch between the over the air guide and the the additional information that comes via the Internet.
I think all FOXSAT HDR boxes will be at least 10 years old and the oldest will be 15 years old. There is no reason why you can't install custom firmware if you wish.
