ITV HD disappears when using tunefix
Thanks. I've put my tunefix settings back to how they were and the problem with ITV HD hasn't come back. I'll keep an eye on it and if it reoccurs, I'll grab the files you've asked for and send them across. What would be the best way to get a copy of the channel.db file? ITV HD disappears when using tunefix
I've made a bit of progress, I think. On a retune, ITV HD appears as channel 103. By not assigning anything else to 103 in tunefix, ITV HD has now appeared at the channel number I gave it (which, incidentally, is 11). When ITV HD was disappearing, I'd assigned BBC FOUR to 103. ITV HD disappears when using tunefix
When I do a full retune of my HDR-FOX T2, the ITV HD channel appears in the list of channels. If I then reset the device and let my tunefix settings take effect, the ITV HD channel disappears from the EPG. I've tried giving it a couple of different channel numbers in tunefix but it remains...- bingbonglong

Yes, good point! I have done as you suggest and I have been able to schedule recordings from webif and rs and also to delete theme from the schedule without error messages and without anything appearing in the pending actions queue. Every change I make to the Schedule (both adds and deletes) using the webif seems to get stuck in the Pending Actions queue. Sometimes the "reboot required" icon comes up, but doing a reboot doesn't seem to do anything. If I try to schedule a recording from the webif EPG, I get this message...- bingbonglong

While I'm here I'll let you know that I've bought a Seagate Skyhawk from Amazon (see attached image). It was recognised immediately by the HDR-FOX-T2 and I was given the option to format it. Thank you, but there's no need for you to feel guilty, as far as I can see. This is CPC/Farnell's fault, not yours. I requested a return, which they accepted, and I've sent it back to them. I don't think I have the money back yet, but I hope that will come....- bingbonglong

Thank you. I do intend to try to return the drive to Farnell. The information that "SATA 3GB/s" is the same as SATA II is really useful, thanks. Ive installed the new HDD (500GB, CS29474 from CPC as suggested by @everthewatcher earlier in the thread). When I power on the device, I get my TV picture and my TV guide, but there's no automatic option to do any formatting. When I press MEDIA on the handset, nothing happens.
