Twonky Server v7 crashing HDR-FOX T2
I expect it's 2B since that's the only thing that I've changed. I tend to point my finger at Asus MiniDLNA - but I do note it's a Twonky thread. The culprit could be Bubble for DLNA / Chromecast that I have on three devices. Think I will put my money on the Asus MiniDLNA software on balance...- Tell

Good question. I haven't tried since I sought of thought it's the Twonky thing and read up about it from how I remembered it. HDR Fox T2 Support Ending?
That necessity proverb. Probably that stage has not been reached yet looking to Af123. I found a solution to the deleted radio app bit from the TV iPlayer. I got a cheap £30 TV Hannspree Android box with optical out so now get a months content with the iPlayer Radio app in HLS, the 320mbs m4a...- Tell

Difficulty playing mp3s
Not too sure about that. I find the MP3 side works fine using files delivered from media on a Vista laptop and a tower unit from Windows 7 and Serviio (the later now it's been updated). I use TOS out. I use Ezra's tip of playing Mp4a's via renaming method thanks to DinkyPumpkin and that well...- Tell

Remote stops working after a while
I think there are a range of problems which cause it so not just one solution. I think mine was basic electrical interference although it could have been infra-red interference from a sat box it sits on. Move it back an inch and it's fine. how to unmount/eject external USB drive/stick
I've had to reformat a USB pen drive to ext3 several times which I think was related to me having teething problems with BootHDR or whatever its called on the HD box. That means you reformat to FAT on a PC then ext3 on the Humax which is a pain. So on the HDR I wait for the internal drive to...- Tell

Remote control stops working...
For what it's worth I found that the equipment it was standing on just below was causing my problem over a 9+ month period. Technomate TM-7102 was the offending item, just shifting the Humax box 1" back fixed it. Weird, think I created the problem in the first place during a bit of dusting /...- Tell

They've Screwed Up iPlayer Again!
Mine's OK, the normal screen although I did think last night it looked a bit clearer than normal as if the HD stream was better digitised although has that jerkiness to fast movement. Well iPlayer Radio on an Android is like the previous version of the Humax iPlayer which covered radio it misses out some programmes, Radio Scotland's Travelling Folk for one. You have to be downright patient with the software and if you bang the keys too quick it reboots the box which isn't good when background recording. On streaming I haven't found anything that works well without glitches on the partners internet setup changing routers and borrowing mine so...- Tell

Glad to see we are all on the case. The regional programmes don't tend to be on the Android BBC iplayer radio, like Travelling Folk, so no back door there. I know but it's a pain menuing in and out when all what you want can be put in one place. That would be V3 and V4 for the iPlayer, the BBC News and Sport apps plus anything anybody else had up their sleeve (that was Chris) all in one place on the New Portal. hmmm I seem to be replying to a...- Tell
