Apologies if I posted on the wrong forum, it says "HDR-FOX T2 Freeview Recorder at the top of the thread" did someone move it to the correct forum for me?
I have a problem with the BBC MUX that is on CH48 on the Midhurst Transmitter on my HDRFOX-T2 boxes, usually at times of high pressure weather patterns with loss of signal for programs on that MUX.
I either lose the feed for programs on that MUX completely or get very poor signal strength...
I want to change the default gateway on a HDRFOX-T2 with the CFW that has the "green screen" problem.
I can use the CLI to change it but it gets reset to the old gateway address after a reboot.
I presume that the default gateway, along with the other network parameters is held in NVRAM and gets...
I'm pretty sure the answer is no but I'll ask anyway just in case.
Since the recent channel changes for SKY Mix/Sky Arts I no longer have access to SKY Arts. I'm not in the UK at the moment so can't retune via the box using it's remote control.
I had hoped that Tunefix might be able to handle...
I went one step further and tried recording from 16 tuners at once. I setup the test to start at 18:00 but problems started before then when tuners were being reserved for programs due to start recording at 18:00.
Quite a few problems reported in the log :
X-HDHomeRun-Error: 805 All Tuners In...
I'm in a similar situation to lc200 in that I originally got the HDRHomeRuns to use with plex and ended up with lots of recordings that were either missing the start or end of the program because plex didn't have the AR functionality. The first was purchased to allow us to watch UK live TV via...
Thanks lc200, it seems to have fixed the problem of some programs failing. I thought at first that it hadn't as 3 consecutive Sky Arts programs failed after the update but looking at the log it was saying that there were no tuners available.
It wasn't using anywhere near the 12 allocated at the...

There seems to be a problem with the drama channel . It claims to start recording but doesn't stop and produces no file. This has happened to me several times now. Hopefully you can help I set up a test with debug turned on log file...
Thanks lc200 , probably best if we leave it for now as I'm in Spain until the beginning of February. I have access to my PCs in the UK but obviously can't do anything with the aerial setup to alleviate the poor signal on the 2 MUXes.
I have 5 and they're all set as preferred. This has worked OK in the past. I think the problem is linked to the stream breaking up due to the signal strength being poor.
I have what I think is a new problem with DVROnTime, I'm running 1.0.6.2027 and just recently I've been having problems with poor signal strength on the 2 BBC MUXes which are channel 36 and 48 on the Midhust transmitter. Stupidly, I tried to initiate a re-tune on DVROnTime to see if changes to...
Yes, you're right although not everyone checks the schedule every day, setting up their schedule for the week ahead and then assuming all will be OK.
The Recording List does handle it properly, showing a conflict due to a series linked program that will be added to the schedule on the 8th day...
I hope the title says it all but I frequently come across the situation on programs that span midnight on the last day of the current schedule which have a conflict caused by a series linked program that will start after midnight and conflict with these programs.
I use Visual Schedule to...
I suppose it keeps things simple but hardly intuitive. I still think that an option to keep the input file, either by renaming it so it doesn't try to process it again or by moving to the output folder along with the CUT version (if the input and output folders are on the same drive there will...
I must admit that I read it differently assuming that the m2ts file would be processed as such and output as a cropped m2ts file but as you say it implies that the m2ts file would be converted to ts either before or during advert removal and any restoration of the input file would be as a ts...
Just to say that I've noticed that V107 produces a TS file as output from a M2TS input file.
I only noticed as I use the HDRFOX-T2 download function to transfer the files from the UK to Spain when I'm there and my usual trick of creating sidecar files to enable the download failed with the wrong...
Thanks dearleuk, I looked to see if there was an .ini file or something similar in the program folder that I could change but forgot about the Windows registry.
I've noticed that it appears to pick up open files and try to crop them. I had it pointing at the DVROnTime output folder and it tried to crop programs while they were still recording (V1.06).
I've emailed them to let them know but it's easy enough to to move the files to another directory when...
